Aim

The main aim of the DFW Fire and Rescue philosophy is to promote unity, dedication, and good neighborly relations among the community in the area. Additionally, the organization serves as a vigilant watchdog, acting as the eyes and ears of the community, security service providers, and local police services.

By doing so, it assists in safeguarding the community against fire devastation and criminal activities and strives to create a safe and secure environment. Furthermore, the DFW Fire and Rescue aims to provide a channel through which the community can actively participate in fire and crime prevention.

Objective

The primary objective of the organization is to raise awareness among the community regarding fire risks awareness, safety and crime prevention, and the protection of both individuals and their property. To achieve this, it encourages close cooperation between the community, the local and district Fire brigades, the South African Police Service, security service providers, and other relevant law enforcement structures. By fostering unity within the community, the DFW Fire and rescue seeks to create a fire risk stable and crime-free environment for all residents.

In an ongoing effort to enhance safety for residents in the Klein Drakenstein DFW Fire and Rescue area, the organization has formed partnerships with various security and medical response partners.
